Breast Augmentation

Breast enlargement surgery, also called breast augmentation or breast enhancement, is a cosmetic procedure performed to enhance the size and shape of the bustline using breast implants. Women interested in breast augmentation will first have a consultation with plastic surgeon Hebert Lamblet, during which he will evaluate candidacy and discuss the desired results of surgery. During breast augmentation, Dr. Lamblet endoscopically guides a textured cohesive silicone-gel breast implant into position beneath the glandular tissue through a small incision in the underarm (axillary approach). Compared to other methods of breast augmentation, the endoscopic axillary technique results in a more naturally shaped breast, with minimal scarring, bruising, and swelling after surgery.

Once the breast implants have been placed, Dr. Lamblet makes minor adjustments to ensure a natural-looking result. The mammary glands are never harmed during this procedure, so Dr. Lamblet's breast augmentation patients retain the ability to breastfeed after surgery. Breast Lift

Breast lift is a surgical procedure that elevates and recontours sagging breasts, which can begin to droop as a result of pregnancy, weight loss, or aging. Dr. Hebert Lamblet performs the vertical breast lift technique to remove excess skin and sculpt the glandular tissue, restoring the youthful shape and volume of the breast. Using this method, Dr. Lamblet has been able to produce consistently outstanding cosmetic results for his patients with less scarring than traditional breast lift surgery. Dr. Lamblet can also reduce the size of the areola (the dark skin around the nipple) during this procedure or add further volume to the breast, if desired. Many patients desire breast implants to enhance their breast size in addition to changing the shape of their bust.

Patients are normally able to return to work one week after the breast lift procedure, although lifting and other strenuous activities should be avoided for at least a few more weeks. Breast Reconstruction

Dr. Lamblet is sensitive to the reconstructive needs of breast cancer patients. He performs breast reconstruction using state-of-the-art techniques, and is currently researching a treatment that may prove even more beneficial for breast reconstruction patients.

To reconstruct the breast after mastectomy or lumpectomy, Dr Lamblet can use either the patient's own tissue (flap reconstruction), a textured cohesive silicone-gel breast implant(s) or a combination of the two, depending on the patient's unique anatomy and cosmetic goals. Using these breast reconstruction techniques, Dr Lamblet is able to recreate a natural-looking breast that is both proportionate and symmetrical. After your consultation and a thorough examination, Dr Lamblet will devise a customized surgical breast reconstruction plan to help you regain your natural bustline.

Dr Lamblet is currently exploring the use of autologous fat grafting techniques with ADCs for breast reconstruction. His goal with this technique is to restore breast volume and improve the quality of the breast skin so that it can accommodate an expandable prosthesis (breast implant). Male Chest Enhancement
